From its humble beginning in 1997, Sintel Hotels was born from a single budget property in Columbus, Ohio to over eight hotels- 850 rooms, within a 15 year period. These partner franchises include Hilton, Intercontinental, Whyndam, and Best Western. Sintel owned and managed hotels mainly throughout the midwest before consolidating and re-strategizing on a niche high- barrier- to- entry market- The Ohio State University. A father and son run company- Jagdeep and Manav Singh put their expertise and mutual interest in developing and creating a hotel experience within the OSU market unlike any other. In 2011 the two opened the doors to their crown jewel just steps away from OSU campus- The Holiday Inn Suites, and in 2017, opened the upscale-boutique Staybridge Suites-OSU.

After these two burgeoning developments on campus, Jagdeep and Manav set out to expand the Sintel Portfolio into the bustling Polaris Fashion District. Through strategic acquisitions, the Sintel retail divisions are now home to over 10 national tenants. Sintel will continue to invest and further expand its stronghold in the Polaris and other upcoming districts in the city of Columbus through acquisitions and new developments.
